So far, not so good.
I am not sure exactly where the setup starts. I have looked at a couple different YouTube videos but have found nothing conclusive that will give me an idea as to what to do.
I am able to ping the device though, so there is hope… It can talk to the network.
I tried hotkeys to open a terminal ctrl+alt+f1 then opening a netcat connection just to try to send hello to my terminal – no such luck…
Not all hope is lost! After some reading I discovered that you can enable ssh on boot by creating a new file called ssh and dropping it on the boot partition of the SD card.
After loading up the pi, things are looking good!

After forgetting what the default password was and Googling it, I am in!

Now just to take care of some initial setup tasks…
